Aron Idoine is the founder and principal of Idoine Design Studio, a Toronto-based practice established in 2002. He leads a highly collaborative team recognized for crafting thoughtful, intelligent architecture that is both deeply contextual and beautifully realized.
Between 1992 and 2000, Aron gained formative professional experience at Antoine Predock Architects in Albuquerque, New Mexico and Venice, California, as well as at The Jerde Partnership in Venice, California. During this period, he made significant contributions to the design and execution of award-winning public buildings.
His work has spanned a broad range of typologies—including residential, community, commercial, retail, and institutional projects—which has shaped his ability to balance large-scale urban strategies with human-scale spaces. Aron’s approach thoughtfully integrates materials, budget considerations, and the needs of his clients.
He holds a Master of Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of New Mexico, School of Architecture and Planning.
Throughout his career, Aron has continued to explore the boundaries of contemporary design, striving to unlock the greatest potential in each project and to create places that are meaningful and personally resonant.
